Specifications

  1. As per NPCI guidelines, it is mandatory for partner merchants to complete the Two Factor Authentication.
  2. During the calendar day, the Bank will allow the AePS Cash Deposit transaction only if partner merchant login through Biometric Authentication is successful for that calendar day.
  3. Partner merchant outlets will provide the AePs cash deposit services in the remote area. Customers will visit the merchant outlet for the AePS cash deposit services.
  4. Merchant Authenticity is required for cash deposit services.
  5. Merchant will ask the customer to share a few details to initiate the cash deposit transaction like Aadhhar number, mobile number (Link with Aadhaar), Bank Name, Amount.
  6. The merchant will use a biometric scanner to authenticate the customer's fingerprints or iris scan for verification.
  7. After successful biometric authentication, customers will provide the cash to be deposited into their bank account.
  8. The merchant will initiate the transaction and credit the deposited amount to the customer's bank account linked with their Aadhaar number.
  9. Customers will receive a transaction receipt or notification as proof of the cash deposit.
  10. Cash Deposit transactions limit is - min - Rs.100 & Max - Rs.10,000.
